In many workplaces, online communication is getting more common than meeting face to face. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

It is often believed that online communication will be the only form of communication in the future, and this tendency is gaining ground quickly. While many people often prefer to communicate through technology, other people still feel more at ease speaking face to face. Online conversations and video calls, in my opinion, offer more advantages than disadvantages.

Technology not only save our precious time but also lead to numerous other benefits such as it give employess freedom of time and palce, they can conversate with their colleauge anywhere, anytime with any device such as mobile, laptop, tab etc. Additionally, we may multitask while listening to other people talk, we can represent documents, show graphs, data conduct interviews. I can save few hours of a day by attending meetings online, which I can put to better use by doing more work and increase my productivity. Overall, it may often save everyone valuable time.Apart from it, it is also cost effective virtual cummonication  save cost of transport and accomodation 

Continuing on to the other benefits, it can be said that internet communication indirectly benefits the environment. To put it simply, when we communicate online, we do not need to travel, which greatly facilitates traffic flow. We don't need to drive, and by not doing so, we can conserve precious fossil fuel and lower our carbon footprints. Additionally, much of the equipment in those massive tech parks, where thousands of people worked, could function in low power mode since most people could do their job from home via online meetings, which would reduce the amount of energy and water used.

To Conclude, Online communication for organisations is without a doubt a useful asset that has more advantages than disadvantages. Today's modern business should take charge of the opportunities offered by internet communication and make use of the tremendous advantages in order to develop and flourish.
