There have been many discussions lately about the relationship between wealth, prosperity and equality. While I understand the egalitarian viewpoints, I do think that people should attain success according to their qualifications.

On the one hand, having equality in society has benefits for both individuals and the larger community. For instance, if people with lower incomes made more money, society would be more equitable. Additionally, poor men would be happier in this circumstance. It has been demonstrated that under this situation, thefts will be less likely. If everyone made the same amount of money, behavioral problems would also decrease. As a result of the aforementioned factors, beliefs in an equal society may be considered realistic.

On the other hand, given real-world circumstances, this type of society cannot advance. People would become discouraged if their compensation was determined without taking into account their merits. for example, A lawyer or engineer would anticipate making more money than a regular employee. Additionally, for societies to advance, there must be a competitive spirit, and in an egalitarian society, this spirit of competition would not exist among the general populace. Poorer people would, for instance, strive for betterment if they had a merit-based status, and this effort would quickly advance society.

In summary, I would concede that equality has an influence on individual efforts, but it appears to me that individuals should get paid what they are worth, since this would be better for the advancement of society.
