Human activity has had a negative impact on plants and animals around the
world. Some people think that this cannot be changed, while others believe
that actions can be taken to bring about the change. Discuss both and give
your opinion.

It is irrefutable that the world population has increased over the last few decades and industrialization put a dire impact on the wild species. Some masses think that it will never be changed, whilst others believe that solid steps could be useful to tackle this issue.
First and foremost, many places with serious environmental problems are not appropriate for some species to survive. For example, many wild animals lost their habitats because of deforestation, both water and air pollution is brought by industrialization, especially in some developing countries. It would be wrong to shut down these factories, as some local governments give top priority to local factories because these are considered as economic development. In addition, some concerns are too complicated to be solved in a short period of time. Global warming is one of them. Some marine species are dying out because of the increment in temperature.
However, governments and individuals should put efforts to save wild lives like authorities should introduce environmental laws to force factories to reduce carbon dioxide emissions that lead to global warming, and also impose heavy taxes on drivers to encourage people to drive less, which help to make the environment cleaner. Individuals should use eco-friendly products, like if paperless offices were widely encouraged and adopted, then there would be less demand for wood, which helps to curb deforestation and provide better protection to wild habitats.
In conclusion, in my opinion, although saving wild animals and plants would be quite challenging, and it is not an easy task, by taking strict measures and the joint efforts of governments and individuals, environmental issues are likely to be mitigated.
