It is irrefutable that enhancing technology leads to various crimes among youngsters which have become a concerning issue. It can be mitigated if the young individuals learn valuable skills from their parents but other measures will also be beneficial to reduce the crime rate.

Firstly, juveniles follow in the footsteps of their parents. In this era, offences among teenagers are burgeoning due to various causes like the lack of moral and social values, spending less time with their loved ones and also misguidance. These problems will not arise if they get proper guidance, love, care and life lessons at an earlier age because discipline, manners, rules and regulations teach a person a lot. Moreover, adolescents should be observed by their father and mother which will help to examine the activities of youngsters.

However, to teach young offenders about the difference between right and wrong, not only parenting skills will be useful but also other measures can be taken to guide them. Like in schools bad friendship and inadequate behaviour of teachers also put an impact on children’s thinking. So it is the responsibility of teachers and management to provide appropriate knowledge and guidance to pupils which make them good members of society. Moreover, some seminars and competitions also must be organised by staff members because it inclines social skills, as well as awareness campaigns, which will help to award the learners about the adverse effects of committing a crime.

In conclusion, I partially agree with the statement, Although the crime rate can decrease with the proper guidance of parents other things are also considered as important to tackle it.
