Describe a time when you received money as a gift  cue card

In India, it is a ritual among people to give money as a gift on some special occasions.

It is always amazing to receive gifts.

I have received distinct kinds of presents in my life.

But here I'm going to talk about a time when my maternal grandparents gave me money as a gift.

Last month they came from Ludhiana after a long time.

My whole family was extremely happy.

we talked about various topics with them like current affairs and some old incidents that had happened in their life because those things give us life lessons

They also share beautiful memories of mine with them like in childhood I often asked them to give me 10 rs and how I did mischievous activities.

I am loving grandchildren of them so they always gave me 10 rs.

They stayed in our home for five days.

On the day, when they were ready to went back to their home, my grandfather gave me 2000 rupees.

Firstly, I denied to take it,  but they insisted to accept it for buying
Useful things.

I got delighted because I wanted to purchase new clothes for myself.

The next day, my brother and I went to the market shopping.

I used this money to buy a pair of t-shirts and a wallet.

I wore that t-shirt and clicked the pictures and send them to my grandfather.

He felt extremely glad to see my pictures.

I think no one can replace the love of grandparents which they have for their grandchildren.

I thanked my grandparents for the money that I received as a gift.

May they live long. So this was the time when I received money as a gift.
